Flacke+Otto Architects transformed the semi-detached house in Berlin’s Westend from 1939 into an open house. Originally, it was characterised by narrow rooms, little daylight and had no direct connection to the garden. Now, thanks to the large glass front, you have the feeling that you are already in the garden from the living room. For the exterior shots we reached deep into the bag of tricks, we lit all the interior rooms. What fun!
